Worship at Grace is based in the ancient liturgy of the Church. We pray, praise and learn through music, reading of Scripture, sermons, and weekly celebration of communion. We follow the liturgical calendar that takes us through a journey of discipleship as we move through the seasons of the church year:
Some Sundays may include special rites such as a Service of Healing, where you are invited to come forward for prayer and anointing (if you like). This rite is a really wonderful way for the entire community to lift prayers for wholeness for individuals in our community. While we are deeply connected to the ancient traditions of the Christian community, we also express ourselves in a variety of ways. Music can range from pipe organ and chanting to global music traditions with percussion, string, wood and brass instruments. Our focus is always to praise God and nourish God's people with Word and Sacrament. Our worship forms us and prepares us to be God's people in, and for, the world. |
