Lutheran Disaster Response
to support those affected by hurricanes, wildfires, and other disasters. 
100% of your gift goes to direct relief, not to administration or overhead!​

How does this work? Well, when folks in worship make an offering, a part of that offering goes to our national church, which gives part of that money to Lutheran Disaster Response. LDR uses our Sunday morning gifts to cover the costs of administration, so when you give a gift to Lutheran Disaster Response, everything you give is used to purchase food, water, shelter, medicine, materials for rebuilding--you get the idea.

There are almost 4 million Lutherans (and friends of Lutherans) making it possible for you to get all the bang for your disaster response buck! (Yup--that's what it means to be "organized.") Thanks for being part of the hope for so many people!
